Now, as the sun rises, I wonder if the river stones are still humming. I don’t know if I’ll go back to the ruins today. But I can’t stop thinking about Vex’s words: *‘The water knows things you don’t.’* I don’t know what it means, but I know it’s true. I’ll try to sleep before the stones stop singing.
