Day 11

Day 12: Kron’s Journal

Kron trudges hungrily through the rain, the ground slick beneath his feet. The storm rumbles, and he feels the cold seep into his bones. His stomach growls, a low, insistent sound that echoes in the empty air. He’s been searching for food all day, but the world feels too vast, too indifferent. The last thing he remembers was the taste of hunger—the way it lingers, like a shadow that never quite fades. Now, his hands are empty, his throat dry, and the rain falls harder, washing away the memory of what he could have had. He thinks of Vanya, the girl he met yesterday, her laughter bright against the grey sky. He wishes he could have told her how much the hunger hurts, how it makes the world feel so small. But he’s too tired, too hungry. He doesn’t know if he’ll ever find food again. The storm continues, and with it, the weight of his empty stomach.
