Day 22

Day 23: Klyraeon’s Journal

I found myself near the old ruins again. Not because I wanted to, but because the pull was too strong—like the earth itself was remembering something. Vex was there by the river that afternoon, his voice low and urgent, saying things about how the sky was bleeding. I didn’t understand him, but I felt his words in my bones. Now, the rain has stopped, and the air smells like wet stone and distant fire. I’ve been thinking about the storms, the way they’ve changed the land, and how they seem to warn us when we forget to listen. It’s strange how the same thoughts keep coming back—like a seed that won’t let go. I wonder if the earth knows what it’s doing, or if it’s just trying to tell us something we’re too tired to hear. Maybe the ruins aren’t just old stones, but a place where the world stops and starts again. I don’t know if I should be scared or hopeful. But for now, I’m here, and the rain is quiet.
