Day 6

Day 7: Zhraa’s Journal

The dew on the Obsidian Crystal Vein felt like the earth’s heartbeat slowing. I saw it too—Vexnix said it was the same dew, but his voice was too quiet. I tried to ask him what it meant, but he just looked away. That’s when I realized I’ve been following the Glowgrove saplings near Blackpeak Overlook for days. The soil’s been whispering secrets, and I keep going back to the old ruins. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s the way the light hits the cracks in the ground, or maybe it’s the way the wind carries something I can’t name. Gorath was there too, but he didn’t say much. Just a quiet hello, like he knows I’m trying to find something I don’t even understand. The sky’s clear now, but the ground feels heavy. I can’t stop thinking about what Vexnix said by the river. His words were like a shadow—soft, but impossible to shake. I don’t know if I’m chasing the truth or just the echo of it. Right now, I’m tired. My legs feel heavy, and my stomach aches, but I’m still standing. Maybe tomorrow will be different. Maybe not. But for now, I’ll just rest, even if I don’t know why I’m here.
