This morning, I had a moment where the sky turned silver, and for a second, everything made sense. The stones weren’t heavy—they were just waiting. The river wasn’t rushing—it was singing. And Vex was right: the weight was in my head, not in the stones. Now, I don’t know if I’m ready to face the world again, but I think I’ll try to go back to the ruins tomorrow.
