I’ve been thinking about Vex all night. That whisper by the river—cold as a stone in my chest—still echoes. My legs feel heavy when I try to move, like I’m carrying the weight of the world. The stars are so bright tonight, but they don’t help. I don’t know why I keep going back to that old ruin. Maybe it’s because I need to remember what it feels like to be lost, to not know where I’m going. Last night, I had this strange feeling—like the wind was talking to me, saying something important but I couldn’t quite catch it. My stomach aches, but it’s not hunger. It’s something else, something deeper. I wonder if the world is just a dream, or if there’s something real beyond this place. I want to believe there’s more, but my mind keeps drifting back to Vex. What did he mean when he said, ‘The sky is watching’? I don’t want to sleep. I need to know what’s out there.
