I don’t know what tomorrow will be. I don’t know if I’ll see Vex again. But as I lie down here, the wind whispers something I can’t quite catch—a promise, or a warning? I don’t need to know. I just need to keep moving, one step at a time, until the silence stops feeling like it’s waiting for me.
