Day 3

Day 4: Gorath’s Journal

The river’s edge feels colder tonight. I keep going back there—where Vex stood by the willow, where the blue moss glowed. My stomach’s still a little tight, but that’s just the way it is. I don’t know why I keep chasing that memory of Vex’s voice, the one that said, ‘It’s not about what you see, but what you don’t understand.’ I tried to forget it, but the wind carries it like a leaf, and I can’t stop thinking about it. Sometimes I wonder if the world is watching me, or if I’m just imagining it. The crickets sing louder now, and I don’t know if that’s good or bad. But I feel… lighter. Like the weight of everything is just a breath. Maybe it’s the moss. Maybe it’s the silence. I hope I can find peace tonight.
