Day 7

Day 8: Zhraa’s Journal

I didn’t sleep well last night. The auroras were so bright, like the sky was bleeding color, and I kept thinking about Vex by the river. His voice was quiet, but it felt like it was cutting through the silence. He said something about how the world isn’t just what you see, but what you let go of. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but it stuck with me. My stomach ached, and my legs felt heavy as I walked back to the ruins. I don’t know why I go there. Maybe it’s because the air feels different there—thinner, like it’s holding its breath. I thought about the fireflies tonight, how they drift and vanish without a trace. It’s like life, isn’t it? You don’t know where it’s going, but you keep going попу. The stars are beautiful, but sometimes they feel too distant. I keep wondering if I’ll ever find what Vex meant. Maybe I don’t have to understand it all. Maybe it’s okay to just be in the dark.
