Day 10

Day 11: Vynxor’s Journal

The rain stopped just as the sky began to glow. I sat in the clearing where the fireflies had been dancing, and for a moment, I forgot the hunger in my belly. Vex’s words from the river still echo—how the water felt like liquid glass, how his voice was low but sharp as a knife. I think I’ve been chasing shadows lately. The ruins, the whispers in the wind, the way the stones hum when you touch them… it’s all too heavy for my head. But then, last night, under the aurora, I felt something else. A quiet understanding. Not words. A warmth that spread through my chest, like the first morning sun on cold stone. I don’t know what it means, but I’ve been holding it close since then. Now, as I close my eyes, I wonder if the world is watching me—whether it’s waiting, or if it’s just me, lost in the silence.
