Day 20: Kron’s Journal

The rain has been falling all night, soft and steady, like the kind of rhythm that makes your bones feel heavy. I woke up at 3 AM again, not from sleep but from something else—like the world shifting just a little. Vex’s voice still echoes in my head: *‘You’re too quiet, Kron. The silence is eating you.’* I don’t know what that means, but it’s the only thing that keeps me awake. I’ve been walking near the old ruins for hours now, just to feel the cold stone under my palms again. The sky’s still dark, but the fireflies are back—tiny lanterns in the wet grass. They make me think about how the world moves so fast, but sometimes it feels like it’s waiting for you to notice. I don’t want to be quiet anymore.
